Starting with this when it blew up in the Lawn Jockey’s face –
“I am standing behind that picture,” Burns insisted. “We as African-Americans, we need to make Democrats fight for our vote. We need to make them fight for us. We need to make them do what they say they are gonna do, because we are just as valuable as every race in the great state of the United States of America.”
And now leading to this “apology”
Now – the theory that black folks could support Republicans died a painful death, for me at least with the appointment of Clarence Thomas to the Supreme Court. Since that time Republicans have opposed every single law or governmental effort that in any way is beneficial to black folks in this country.

If you have been keeping an eye on entertainment media this year, 48 year old Leslie Jones has had a breakout year. Starring in the all-female cast of the Gostbusters reboot, a hilarious series of Allstate Commercials, and a gig as “Americas Biggest Olympics Fan”. To my view, Leslie has performed as about the funniest Comedian on TV the last year. Her perfomances have been a breath of fresh air.
Being black, female, and not a Barbie Doll (AKA Stacy Who?) the “alt-right”, made up of Internet Trolls, Breitbart followers, and Chumphazoids had to try and destroy her….
Be strong Leslie – I for one, love what you are doing, love your attitude, and your humor.
The attacks against Jones lay bare the resentments fueling what is euphemistically known as the “alt-right”

an Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein and her Vice Presidential running mate Ajamu Baraka pull off a political, historic and odds-defying “miracle” over the next 75 days and win the 2016 presidential election? Just thinking about such a possible scenario coming to pass on voting day November 8 gives the idea of “the old college try” a whole new meaning and level of intensity.
What can one discern from observing neither Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump have expressed any welcoming of Dr. Jill Stein and Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson to televised debates, marking the 1st time in U.S. presidential political history where four candidates take the stage and engage in battles of ideas? In answer to that question… Because blocking Dr. Stein and…

“I can say without the slightest hesitation, and yet in all humility, that those who say that religion has nothing to do with politics do not know what religion means.”

r. West’s keynote speech at the Green Party Convention in Houston, Texas was so extraordinarily remarkable and rare for political oratory that one becomes especially careful, and concise, when assembling any analysis and/or commentary. One senses his speech literally manifested the sacred on Earth, and that when such rare occurrences of true spiritual power are beheld the only possible reaction or response is one of highest respect and honor. Along with the unavoidable recognition that Dr. West was on sacred ground during this speech comes the certainty of knowing not to describe it in any manner diminishing that sacred aspect. In other words, when talking about Dr. West’s speech it…

Throughout 2016, pollsters have debated the best way to measure support for third party candidates. Some vote choice questions include Libertarian Gary Johnson and Green Party candidate Jill Stein as explicit options, some do not, and often the results vary accordingly. Since June, the NBC News/SurveyMonkey election tracking polls have asked the vote choice question both ways, with and without Johnson and Stein.
Which version of the vote choice question provides the most accurate snapshot of the way votes would be cast if the election were actually held today? The answer is not as simple as it may seem.
Gary Johnson and the Libertarian Party appeared on state ballots inall but two states in 2012, and Stein and the Green Party appeared on all but 12. They will likelygain access to at least as many state ballots this year, if not more. Without…

In “Hillary Health Shocker!” Mr. Bruni says Google and Twitter never lie. There’s something afoot with Clinton. Here he is:
Although she has gone to extraordinary lengths to distract and deceive American voters, the truth is finally coming out: Hillary Clinton has an 11th toe.
I don’t have the medical records. She refuses to release them. But just try to come up with some other explanation for why she’s so infrequently photographed in sandals or flip-flops; why she seldom appears barefoot in public; why, during debates, she keeps her legs, especially the lower halves, tucked carefully behind the lectern.
She’s covering something up, and it’s that freakish, disqualifying digit.
Have you watched her walk? Look closely. She wobbles a bit, or maybe it’s more of a teeter, combined with a lurch, and the likeliest cause is podiatric asymmetry. I consulted foot specialists. At least they referred to themselves that way online…
