Washington, DC—Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW) is bringing a federal lawsuit to stop President Trump from violating the Constitution by illegally receiving payments from foreign governments. The lawsuit was filed in the Southern District of New York on Monday, January 23, 2017.
The foreign emoluments clause of the Constitution prohibits Trump from receiving anything of value from foreign governments, including foreign government-owned businesses, without the approval of Congress.
“We did not want to get to this point. It was our hope that President Trump would take the necessary steps to avoid violating the Constitution before he took office,” CREW Executive Director Noah Bookbinder said. “He did not. His constitutional violations are immediate and serious, so we were forced to take legal action.”
Since Trump refused to divest from his businesses, he is now getting cash and favors from foreign governments, through guests and events at…

Getting to the source of why the Park Service is up in arms!
On the morning after Donald Trump’s inauguration, acting National Park Service director Michael T. Reynolds received an extraordinary summons: The new president wanted to talk to him.
In a Saturday phone call, Trump personally ordered Reynolds to produce additional photographs of the previous day’s crowds on the National Mall, according to three individuals who have knowledge of the conversation. The president believed that they might prove that the media had lied in reporting that attendance had been no better than average.
Trump also expressed anger over a retweet sent from the agency’s account, in which side-by-side photographs showed far fewer people at his swearing-in than had shown up to see Barack Obama’s inaugural in 2009.
According to one account, Reynolds had been contacted by the…

Note to Republicans…You better remove this MoFo, or the entire Federal Government crumbles.
Federal workers are getting ready to cut the Chumph’s balls off. Making his Executive orders not worth the paper they are printed on.
Nobody, who is an American Patriot is working for a traitor.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s job running the State Department just got considerably more difficult. The entire senior level of management officials resigned Wednesday, part of an ongoing mass exodus of senior foreign service officers who don’t want to stick around for the Trump era.
Tillerson was actually inside the State Department’s headquarters in Foggy Bottom on Wednesday, taking meetings and getting the lay of the land. I reported Wednesday morning that the Trump team was narrowing its search for his No. 2, and that it was looking to replace the State Department’s long-serving…

In a humble twiter-tweet, the modest Mayor of Aberdeen Pat McGrady said :
“This is what you get with me as Mayor. Somebody calls and tells me there is a dead racoon on W. Bel Air Ave and its been there for a week. Its making Aberdeen look bad .
NOT ON MY WATCH!!!!!”” Dec 12, 2016) (The Mayor removes the racoon with his own shovel!)
On the Other Hand: We have an encampment of homeless citizens in tents off Roger Street near the city library. The public cries out . How can this be. It makes Aberdeen look like a heartless place to live. A community that does not care about the poor. A town that cares more about a dead racoon then creating a shelter from the storm for the unfortunate. Where is the Mayor with his “Can Do” shovel. The homeless have’nt been out on the street for a mere week. They’ve been there since at least last Spring, I’ve been told. Where is the sense of urgency from the Mayor and the City Council. Where is the ” we all have to do our part” spirit when it comes to the homeless. The Mayor and City Council have passed the buck to the do-little County govt and have forgotten about there own elected responsibility. Aberdeen needs a year round homeless shelter . But it defintely needs an emergency homeless shelter in the Winter. Mr. Mayor , spare me the gross details about scooping up the dead racoon and stop TALKING about doing something about the homeless. Put your “not on my watch” shovel where your mouth is.
The phenomenon ofFake News, aimed at voters in the Presidential Election of 2016 is examined from the standpoint of voting results, demographics ofvoters usage of social media as source of news, slanting statistics of FakeNews on social media platforms and dataon voters propensity or inclination tobe swayed by Fake News. A mathematical model is derived to estimate how voteswere thus swung to both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump by idealogues andentrepeneurs (and possibly Russia). The model focuses initially on theaggregation of votes needed to swing theElectoral College votes from Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania but uses anationwide proportionality analysis for the eventual model. The end result isconclusive. Fake News led to the Electoral College Victory of DonaldTrump. A remarkable numerical resultfrom the model is that the percentage of swing votes lost toClinton (1.07 %), (based onthe reported values of 17% of social media readers having a propensity toswitch after reading Fake…

Election Rigging 101
Donald Trump was right. The election was rigged. What Trump got wrong (and, boy, does he get things wrong) is that the rigging worked in his favor. The manipulations took three monumental forms: Russian cyber-sabotage; FBI meddling; and systematic Republican efforts, especially in swing states, to prevent minority citizens from casting votes. The cumulative effect was more than sufficient to shift the outcome in Trump’s favor and put the least qualified major-party candidate in the history of the republic into the White House.
Trumpist internet trolls and Trump himself dismiss such concerns as sour grapes, but for anyone who takes seriously the importance of operating a democracy these assaults on the nation’s core political process constitute threats to the country’s very being. Let’s look at each of these areas of electoral interference in detail.

When news media changed its definition of objectivity, they opened the door to ignorance & Trumpism.
Once upon a time, the news media defined objectivity as presenting the facts, and just the facts, usually substantiated by at least two reliable sources. Then the right-wing, led by its own sometimes vibrant sometimes moribund cadre of media, hammered mainstream media that its side wasn’t getting a fair hearing.
According to Nicole Hemer’s Messengers of the Right, which covers the development of the right wing media from the end of World War II until the ascent of Rush Limbaugh and his various imitators, the right wing began assaulting the idea that the mainstream news media was objective from the early days of William Buckley’s National Review and Regenery Press, which published right wing screeds about communism and the evils of labor unions and government regulation, usually financed by their trust fund authors…
